ISK Bioscience Europe takes the innovative chemical components discovered by its Japanese mother company and tests and develops them to useable and approved pesticides for the European agricultural sector. They play an important role in the development of ecological products.

For their office in Belgium, ISK is looking for a multitalented administrative force who will link the field development department and the regulatory affairs department together.


Within this role you are the go-to person for both departments. You work helps the company reach its goals, which is to submit and register new innovative agricultural chemicals approved by and according the EU Regulations.

You assist in every step of the administrative process behind the submissions to the EU Regulatory departments.

You enter all the scientific data from the study reports into the customised Veeva tool.

You assist the Regulatory affairs team by providing them with the right administrative documents, archiving contracts and invoices. You edit confidential data out of the documents, you assist in filing renewal projects and manage the electronic flow of the files.

You will go through regulatory, scientific, financial,… data and cross check the information, you will also report any issues and present solutions.

You create standard operating procedures, training material and document guidelines.

In order to perform these tasks, you will use tools such as Veeva which is an archiving and SharePoint tool, the TM1 reporting tool and the project management tools. You will gain knowledge of these tool and the logic behind it. You will be able to train other users and function as a SPOC to the external providers of the tools.

With your biological, chemical or agricultural background and your notions of the EU regulatory law you are able to keep an overview of the entire process and link both departments.

As the multitasking administrative force of the office you also spend 5 to 10% of your time on basic and adhoc administration, such as planning Business Travels (post Corona), organising any team building activities, booking meeting rooms, handling FedEx shipments…

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor level in the field of Biology, Chemistry, Science or Agriculture.
  • You have a first experience with an administrative role.
  • You worked with archiving, reporting and/or project management tools.
  • Experience with the matter of compliance and EU regulations in projects such as REACH for example are a big advantage.
  • You have strong logical and analytical reasoning skills which are essential to understanding and optimising the use of the tools
  • You are a multitasker and can keep a clear view on the tasks ahead.
  • You are able to prioritise your tasks and stay organised.
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken.
