As “service center repair technician” you will contribute to the “In House” service activities on Capital Equipment. You report directly to the Service Center Manager.
Your responsibilities are as follows:
• Assuring high quality standards by following clear guidelines and procedures, you will investigate, test, troubleshoot and repair components and parts of the medical equipment.
• Writing detailed reports in English on investigations and other service activities are even important as the servicing itself.
Your daily tasks are as follows::
o Execute your daily assigned servicing job list.
o Write reports in parallel with servicing tasks.
o Take initiative to improve work, product and processes.
o Perform relatively complex assignments and solve problems that may have a variety of solutions.
o Adapt work methods to different situations and resolve unusual, nonstandard problems by following the scope of the to follow SOP’s
o Review work of other employees for quality and content.
o Experience in repairing electronic equipment and/or high interest in servicing medical electronic equipment.
o You are attentive to details, have the ability to work under limited supervision.
o Ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner meeting assigned deadlines.
o Dedicated to follow up procedures and accurate in writing reports in English is essential.
o Willingness to learn from more experienced people and flexible in adapting to easier and better working methods.
o You will ensure a focus on accuracy and consistency in the execution of the work to obtain high quality.
• Knowledge & qualifications:
o Technical degree in electronics or equivalent by experience or specialized training.
o Fluent in English, good in Dutch and notices of the French language.
o You have good skills in writing technical reports in English.
o Has knowledge of computer use; Excel, Word, Outlook.
o You have a positive attitude, are a team player and motivator.
o Quality minded with dedication of following up procedures.
